About Helping Eyes Changing Lives

In 2018, Bausch + Lomb will be celebrating their 165th birthday. In the spirit of giving back to the community, Bausch + Lomb Canada is teaming up with ophthalmologists across the country to launch ‘Helping Eyes, Changing Lives’ – a campaign developed to help Canadians see better to live better.

During Vision Health Month, Canadians in need of cataract surgery will experience the latest technology designed to provide vision without glasses. Select patients will receive FineVision™ Trifocal Intraocular Lenses. FineVision™ features an innovative patented trifocal structure design – the first of its kind in Canada – to provide optimal vision at all distances (near, intermediate and far).

Bausch + Lomb Canada will donate FineVision™ Intraocular lenses (IOLs) to up to 20 patients across Canada.

Many patients implanted with FineVision™ don’t need to wear glasses for everyday tasks such as driving, reading the car speedometer or even using their smart phone.

From coast to coast, participating ophthalmologists will perform FineVision™ implantation surgeries throughout the month.

Patients for the campaign were selected by ophthalmologists after being clinically examined and identified as suitable candidates.
